Clip reel is a bit underwhelming - just seems a strong bulky unit - not dissimilar to Lineham, so not really sure if that's what we want/need ?

If we sign a 32 year old Aussie winger currently playing bush rugby when we can clearly see what the team is crying out for I will cancel my season ticket next year for the first time in 40 years. Why don't we see if Inglis fancies another go while we're at it.

He looks a good player to be fair but he definitely isn't what we need right now.

We need a big mobile prop (or 2).

What if we already have a couple of props lined up for next year, we just can't get them here sooner?

I have learned to be wary of these highlights reels. Inglis, for example, is a thoroughbred in his highlights reel, but what we got was more like something destined for the knacker's yard, unfortunately.

I agree. Probably more useful to watch their last six games but it is still better than nothing. You have to look at when the best action bits happened. Still it shows that he was/is capable and you can see what sort of player he is.
I remember seeing Tyrone Roberts' highlights (sorry) ... I sent my nephew a text saying something like this boy will change the way we play.

He did, just not in a good way.

As alffi alluded to, whilst our priority is a couple of (or at least 1) props who actually make an impact, they may not be available right now mid season. Ferguson won't be available for too long I don't expect and regardless of the priority forward(s) we still need to build a squad for next season. That said I don't think he's needed by us really and if we have cash spare right now we should definitely be using it on a forward IMO.

Ok, it would make it more palatable but still seems nonsensical to presumably offload Charnley, a proven SL try scorer to take a risk on an older player who may not settle in. Looking forward to those props being revealed

I think we should use the spare £100K as some sort of financial incentive to the players.

For each tackle bust - £100, for each player supporting a break £50, for each meaningful end of set kick £25, just for looking remotely interested £10. For keeping gob shut on social media £1000.

Lineham in big games was the best winger in SL. Some of the high level plays were almost Vinakolo esk….unfortunately I could count them on 2 hands….

Rhys Kennedy is being offered to super league clubs so we may hear more about him. 6'6 and 17 and a half stone, don't know much about him to be fair and he's played 37 games for the broncos in 4 years. Could be a possibility?
