lets be honest.... not so long ago, we were on a massive losing run.. playing awful.. Then we won a few cup games and a great final... if we dont win anything else this season.. not one person can really moan.

Then next season we see what we look like with 2 decent halves and a strengthened pack.... the addition of a few decent forwards is going to be key.

I reckon next year is the year we can judge this price team.. but VERY happy with this season... winding the saints fans up has been amazing.... Best cup final win of the lot. Even their chairman is raging

I do think your (collectively) feelings towards Agar are misdirected in a way. For sentimental reasons Tony Smith is above criticism as he brought you your first piece of silverware in a while. When really, team should have delivered a trophy under Cullen but for (with hindsight, viewed from the outside, poor coaching).

Agar carries the can for Smith losing the dressing room. People who’ve worked under/with Agar have always been positive about him. He can’t be as bad as a lot of fans believe.

He comes across as very knowledgeable and likeable in the media. Also recently had a few years working in the NRL. He must have something about him. Maybe he’s not had the opportunities Smith’s had in his coaching career.

As a Leeds fan, I’d still prefer a head coach with a history of silverware etc, but I’m coming around to Agar.

Without checking myself, how many games have we actually won I the last few months?

Yes, Wembley was amazing. For how good Saints have been this year, that was a superb 80 minutes. For me only 2009 beats it as a cup win.

I agree that prices team should probably be properly judged next year but in reality we've been poor this year. I can only hope our recruitment has been kept quiet or Widdop and Austin won't have much to play behind after the first 30 minutes or so of each game.

and if come next season... and were struggling, then yes have a look at it. But Price has given himself the respect for another season after wining a trophy.... mad stat is that he has contested every major final since he joined the club... he isnt doing so bad.
