The Greyhound pub has reopened under the name "The Arch Wembley". It was always a good meeting point at Wembley.

For those travelling by car and then coming off the M40 and parking in either High Wycombe or Beaconsfield to catch the train to Wembley Stadium, i would like to recommend The Bootlegger Pub in Wycombe just outside the train station. It has over 300 (yes 300) different types of beers and ales to choose from.
Hope to see a few Wire fans in there to join myself before the game.

Great pub, always nice to mingle with fans of other clubs in there, and decent view of the stadium from the garden. |

Another great place for a Friday night beer. When we did our weekend jaunts, we used to go either into Covent Garden or down into Camden on the Friday night, then head out near to where we stay on the Saturday (most occasions it was Kings Cross but last time it was Bayswater)
Those weekends seem a world away now.  This final will just be a day trip. |

I went there for the Watford v C Palace FA Cup Semi Final and couldn't get near a bar, inside or outside. Ended up in the Fanzone where the beer was awful............... a bit like the game!
I'll probably try it again and hopefully it'll be a bit less busy. |

my boss went for the liverpool final this year, he said it was awful, couldn't get to the bar or the toilets and if you did fight your way through you got half a pint spilled on you, pretty much everyone was covered in alcohol. |
