To be fair to Yed, he tried to get Roy chants going both at London away and Salford away earlier in the season.

no bad performances last night in the Wire side...everyone played very well. Saints were shockingly bad...but take nothing away from us...we were excellent. Even big Roy put in a good shift.
Still not sure we have enough to get the the G.F. again...but we surely have a chance if we can improve a little each week from now on.
Roll on the Pies.

TS said before the game he had faith in Asotasi to make up for being dropped and you could see he was out to prove himself.

Catch the ball and just drive it in hard, forget offloads or trying to get a quick ptb, just use your big frame and get us some yards.

To paraphrase Led Zep, hats off to (Roy) Asotasi
I felt rather sorry for him when even Eddie admitted he hadn't exactly set SuperLeague alight, but you could see he was making an effort and that a lot was expected of him with the injuries. I've been as down on him as anyone, and I'm sure he's aware of the criticisms, but respect to him for putting a good honest shift in with his head up.

Imo it was probably last chance saloon for him last night otherwise one way flight home end of season but we need see this from him every match and not just when he's had a rocket up his backside.He must have been happy as he commented on Twitter after the match which is very rare from him and he even applauded the supporters so maybe he's in a better place mentally than he has been.Keep it up and you might get doubters like me back on side. |

Looks like Tony giving youth a chance is paying off i think Currie and Laithwaite ( both under 23) will be in our back 3 for many years to come. |
