I need to go and collect my crate from up against the wall, odds on its still there to this day.

Only half the Bevan stand is able to open. Around 500 tickets gone as of this morning so not sure how many that leaves. The ticket actually has 'last game at Wilderspool' printed on it so worth getting hold of one!

Per clubs website as of Tuesday they said less than 150 left. WG have posted less than 1/4 left (which would be about 200....sure its been posted before the current capacity is about 800)

I'm sure the groundsman (top bloke) told me only half of the stand has access to water, electricity etc so I imagine health and safety will limit the capacity. Often felt quite 'full' for academy games against Wigan and Saints so this should be lovely.

I got my ticket this morning.

It will be great for these youngsters to say they played in the last ever match.

Regarding the Warrington lads who will actually be playing in this match, does anyone know any of them personally?

I only ask because the match is advertised as Warrington U16s v Cumbria U16s, but I’d heard that the Warrington club won’t let the under-16 lads play in the game due to GCSE exam leave, so Wire are having to field our under-15 side. If true, it seems like petty bureaucracy and the U15s might take a hammering from Cumbrian lads who are a year older, but I just wondered if anyone knew if this was actually true?

How many did they release in the end?

I do and yes that was discussed last week (although the team has not been selected yet). To be fair the club were trying to look after the long term welfare of the players who have exams starting next week.
