I think this is a good idea, and I'm pleased that it's a supporter led initiative rather than a club idea like the woeful flags at Chelsea, and it's also good to see that the flag designs and ideas posted so far (I'm not on Facebook either so this thread is my only point of reference) are all primrose and blue flags and not just a load of generic England flags or Union Jacks.

Serious question now because I honestly don't know. Are massive waver flags allowed in the ground or would they be denied access? I know a few lads who have some of the wavers flown in the Kop during YNWA and I could make enquiries about where the best places to get them done are and rough cost ideas. I know a couple of the forums that a number of those lads post on and often a few people make donations towards the cost of a new one. Nothing official or anything, just groups of like minded mates and people who wish to help out.

If someone set up a Paypal account to do this I'd happily throw a few quid in, and I'd consider getting a waver made if I could be sure I would actually be allowed to wave it in the ground. I accept this would only be permitted before the match and not during play obviously, before anyone complains that I'd be blocking their view!

I think we could get them in but we would need to speak to the club first. You would also have to be at the top of the stand so it doesn't affect anyones view but other than that i think it would be fine. If you could find out where the Kopites get them made that would be brilliant.
