Glad they went well.

| I don't know how much we learned from that, it was more like a pre-season friendly really.
Monas seemed very quiet again and so too was Tyke. I thought Atkins was good, and not just because of his tries. He worked hard and was hungry for the ball. Carvell worked hard and Higham was his usual self, sniping away from the ptb. Riley ran the ball hard and made a good solid debut. Currie was very dangerous when he was given space.
Next week will be totally different, but I suppose a few of the squad have had a week off and the rest have had a good run out. I am hoping Briers will be back because I thought GOB was pretty quiet today.

| The match announcer had us in stitches when Keighley scored to make it 68-4 then came out with a cracker by saying they only need another 65 drop goals to winicon_smile.gif

I learned a hell of a lot, PLAN AHEAD!!! Having made my mind up last minute to drive over I got stuck in a load of St George's Day traffic/Scout parade mallarkie in Keighley took a few unscripted diversions to 'beat the queues' and park up only to find myself on the Ilkley bypass ha ha
I had to content myself listening to score updates on Radio Leeds whilst admiring the scenery in Bronte Country arriving home at 5.00 having missed the game completely BTW did anyone else have similar problems, or just me, stupid Uncle Satnav?

What did he do to suggest he was awful? Took his try well in the corner, made a couple of good dummy half runs and made good metres. Might not be in of our starting 13's but he did his job yesterday.

| Awful is very harsh, though he made life difficult for himself scoring his first try.

Surely you should know by now MKC that no matter what Rhys does in a game he will still be villified; the bloke can't win which is very unfortunate considering he is wearing the primrose & blue.
He has not been a regular starter but he does NOT deserve the amount of crap that he has got on here, its an absolute disgrace.

You are obviously not just Fantastic by name then Mr CP.
I went via Halifax and 'hit' the town at half two having set of from home at half one (told you it was last minute) it all seemed like a great idea at the time getting out of chores and sussing out the who's who in our end I was thinking just follow Winslade's Werthers wrappers easy peasy...

You would have found me easily enough, I was the old man with a white beard pushing a kidney dialysis unit around the ground. If you wan't a second try I will be going to the U19 game on Saturday and the first team game on Sunday.

I dare say the lad is a good professional but unfortunately he isn't Joel Monaghan. He isn't even Chris Riley.
The Warrington supporters expectations have been raised.

I'll go with that. It seems there are a few on here who are a better judge than Tony Smith.

Whilst you might be an easier 'spot' at Saturday's game, I fear that my non attendance will be down to Mrs Rico rather than another 'Heathcliffe day out'
So only Sunday for me I'm afraid and striking as you must be with your white beard and medical paraphernalia, I fear that unfortunately the chances of bumping into you, despite a few beers in the Rodney prematch to sharpen my wits will be diminished.
