Oh, there'll be media bods fainting in their droves - you must only ever refer to him as the "Wonderful Sir Alex"; just like you can only refer to Ratboy as "The fantastic Sam" ...
I thought ST holders could buy 4 seats so they didn't have to sit next to anyone with a drum!

| Until very recently being a Glory Hunter in Warrington is kind of like being a Polar Bear hunter in the Congo. I thought the vast majority of Glory Hunters in Warrington were Saints fans!

| Not that they made it easy for those of us with kids!
Spent 40 mins on hold this morning to the RFL, trying to buy a family package PLUS one. The RFL ticketing website is truly crap - if they are powered by ticketmaster, why can you not choose your seats like you can if you're going to the MEN? The website doesn't even say how many tickets are in a family package, or where in the stadium it might be. For Man Utd matches, it's the SW corner near the tunnel - for this match, our family area is the NW corner.
Complete rubbish. If you're going to do online booking, then at least do it properly, or else employ some more call centre staff!
ETA: If the capapcity if 80,000, why have we only got 23k allocation? Does that mean it's going to look really empty and crap?

The capacity is 76,000 - probably less because of the big screen - and thousands of tickets, including mine, will be sold directly by the RFL.

completely agree with you, bought mine last week from the RFL for West stand lower W104 - on the phone for 2 mins got 6 seats next to each other - no queueing for me this time! lesson learnt from Wembley and allowing the club to decide where I sit

That is the initial allocation, which Leeds will also have received. When both clubs are close to running out Red Hall will send more tickets. This is standard practice with every final or away game. In addition to the thousands of tickets sold to neutrals and those who have purchased through the RFL.
