You could be right and we may never see Monaghan play again, or if we do he'll be a shadow of the player that we saw last season (and the player that totally terrorised Paleaaesina in a certain game in Widnes). Alternatively he could, after a few games to regain his match fitness, come back as good as he ever was.

Honest answer to your 'honest question', I don't know, but obviously I'm hoping for the latter (and he's just turned 32).

Wigan seem to be peaking to quick,whilst wire are just plodding along.I can see Wigan having a mighty crash come the back end of the season.It says alot about wires squad when we can play the kids and still beat teams in a convincing manor.

Wigan last night were class. Wire havent even been great never mind class (IMHO).... YET

We are still chomping at their heels and blooding a lot of players that may well be needed at times later this year.
Not sure I agree that TS has specifically said "play at a lower level" to his players, that would be dangerous surely. Momentum can be a hard thing to turn around never mind stop.

However last year, We all ate our words (wire and wigan fans that is) and a lot of down cast heads could be seen as Wire and Wigan fans walked down the road come October.

Dont count anyone out as it has already been said, Leeds& Saints can beat anyone on their day.

People are saying the rounds dont matter either (not sure I agree) dont look silly with all this its a two horse race no one has won anything yet, have they? this was all said last year.

Enjoy the race its a long one and its good un too.... our league, our game is excellent and we should be proud that even a team as good as (inseret any team Name 1-14) can be turned over by the other big guns (inseret any team Name 1-14) in our league that aren't at the top and I do mean any of em.
