Quote JWP="JWP"Not really, you could put it another way - how many games has Roby won you against the top sides? Certainly none against Wigan or Warrington for sure.
I like Roby a lot, who doesn't, but I notice that a vast amount of his work is one-out work, single plays, scoots etc, call it what you will. He isn't great at bringing his forwards onto the ball or creating, but he's masterful at what he does which is being robust, all action, never taking a backward step, etc etc.
For me, I'd take the guile of Monas (just). I do think Roby needs to improve in some areas though, his distribution at times for me isn't great, but it's pretty difficult to criticise a bloke who's getting through a truckload of work every week.'"
Roby has done more try assists than Monas, so can't agree there and he has been our MOM the most this year of our lads. So he has played a big part for our team.
I am not criticising Monas, he a class act but the hard fact is he is not capable of gaining you 5000 metres or doing 1000 plus tackles. Roby has been tremendous in attack and defence and is the stand out number 9 this year. He will without doubt be the number 9 in the dream team and very much deserved.
