To be honest I haven't got a clue about the Solomona one. But there was absolutely nothing in the Hansen one and I'm not suprised its been not guilty.

just re watched the highlights from saterday night, the segment starts at 35:50 on a countdown clock, 4th and 5th tackle from catalan and then the kick, and then we score, soit must be before that.

Go back a step. Whoever has reviewed the recordings has seen something to refer both incidents to the disciplinary panel. The disciplinary panel has deemed one not guilty, the other guilty.

The person/people reviewing the games are the ones whos credibility should be called into question.

what i will say about this thoug, just remembered, baile and solomona and i think baitieri were having ading dong for most of teh game.

Enough with the conspiracy theories already. In the dark era (Whelan/Lindsey etc) Wigan used to pull every trick in the book to get around Red Hall, but even then they didn't control them - they just had clever lawyers and a determination to get their way whatever the cost. Bad luck on Solomona but nowt to do with the Pies.

Just take it on the chin. Remember all the wailing when Morley and Carvell got off last year just before the Wigan game. We still didn't beat them.

Not seen either incident.

Hansen would have had to do something really dangerous to miss the final. Solomona will be a loss. He's been in great form recently.

Hopefully an appeal will take place. Seems everybody else appeals these days anyway. Who knows!

According to Andy Wilson from the Guardian, no.

He pleaded guilty to the reckless part of the charge, so little point in appealing.

Solomona was banned because he pleaded guilty and admitted it was a reckless challenge. Also the fact that Baille was injured meant that he would get a ban. The panel viewed it as a very serious incident. and the injury could have been more serious.

Wishful thinking about an appeal, you have lost him for the Wigan game.

Ah well its the tough way again against these lot.

Why are people bothered about Solomona getting banned and Hansen not? Hansen playing won't have any bearing on the game whatsoever as he is bobbins. Better if he plays, if it was Hoffman or JT it would be a different story.

Is it any wonder there is so much squabbling on here, when people come out with such blinkered nonsense?.....Hansen is certainly not 'bobbins'. Yes, he isn't an individual who will change a match with a sparkling piece of skill, but he's a crucial part of an efficient outfit, in the same way that Ben Harrison, Louis Anderson or Simon Grix are to Wire.

I agree that these type of players are replaceable, but to dismiss them as 'bobbins' is just another rather unsubtle way of trying to provoke opposing fans.
