| A lightweight front row is not helped by a very lightweight second row. We need a beast of a second row as well. Tanginoa is a good target or maybe Matautia could persuade his brother to come and join us for a bit when his contract expires at the end of this season.

Posted similarly earlier.
I didn`t know that Matautia`s brother was only on a one year deal, but if Saints want to keep him, he will probably stay there.
All for having siblings in the team though, it creates unity especially when the chips are down,

With Woolf leaving at the end of the year his brother would be an ideal signing, but i can't see Powell Signing Holmes to not play him in the second row?
For me we have to drop under performing players but powell seems reluctant to, like the old school we've payed alot of money for them so have to play them kind of thing. At the moment i would drop the following and replace them with other players.
Toby King out Connor wrench in.
Philbin out and Rob Butler in.
Holmes out And Longstaff in.
It won't happen but needs to, i like Powell but not dropping players like these is unacceptable.
Billy Magoulias played well for me, made an error but plenty of effort and is trying things like his chip kick

He does the things you don't see, remember.
20 metres is atrocious.

Well I suppose it makes a change from you banging on about needing new props, but honestly how you can criticise the footwear choice of one of the least blameworthy players in the team, given the much larger issues, is a mystery to me.

| Ashton slipping was a major contributor to one of the early left edge tries to be fair. We do seem to be slipping a little too often IMO.

Why you get sucked in to replying to my posts when there are larger issues is another…!

I assumed replying was sort of the point, but had I known I was dealing with Confucius (or even Yoda) I might have been more circumspect.

I actually had visions of you as David Carradine trying to leave the temple with rubber duckie as Master Kan

Ashton has more than TWICE as many clean breaks, tackle busts and metres gained as anyone in the squad but his boots are the problem ?

I never made any mention of Ashton or his boots being a problem at all. I was just adding a little context to the ducks point. To be fair it's not just him slipping either but this particular slip was costly. Ashton has been absolutely fine this season I have no problem with him.
