Leigh had a fair chunk of their better players missing. They should also be allowed a years grace away from relegation (as should all teams) given the current climate....and I'm not just saying that because we might go down.

Spot on mate,great post. I've always said that any promoted team should get a years grace to try and get established. If we could be a little bit more lucky,and avoid anymore injuries, i think we might just avoid finishing bottom.

We lost 6(7 actually) players from our team, at short notice in the first match due to covid, and still won.

Its been price out for 2 years. Last weekend did sod all to change that.

And you were practically at full strength in your first match against Cas this season and got beat 21 - 12.

You are, and should be more of an established club than Leigh, and to be fair, we just fell short of beating last years Grand finalist in our opening fixture. Our injuries are taking it's toll but, we will get on with it. I can't help but think you're having a little dig at Leigh but, Karma can be a wonderful thing.

When Leigh have all their players fit along with the addition of Peats and maybe the odd signing I’m fairly certain they will avoid the wooden spoon, I think they will cause problems for a few teams this year.
