| Quote: lefty goldblatt "Oh dear, has your irony meter not been switched on?
Little to do with rugby? Pardon me, but aren't we discussing a player currently being employed by the club?. I'd say that quite easily qualifies as a rugby topic.
The fact that myself, and a few other regular posters on here, can recognise that the said person is not pulling his weight, is getting lost on you. None of us have been vitriolic, more tongue in cheek. No swear words have been used.
For those of us who remember Mike Gregory, I'll remind you of a few words from his autobiography, which went something along the lines of...
...the Wire fan appreciates honesty. If he thinks you're not giving it your all, he'll let you know"....
I've watched the game long enough to know he's not pulling his weight.
He's a long way behind chancers like Currier and Asotasi, to mention just two. I just hope he pulls his metaphorical finger out, and puts in a few shifts, before season's end. At the moment, he's showing no sign of this. The ball's in his court, it's up to him to earn his wages, otherwise he'll cop for a fair bit more grief. He's short changing us, and growing numbers are getting more unhappy.
Meanwhile, if I was you, I'd stay out of strong sunlight. Snowflakes melt in high temperatures.'"
Good old lefty. I never did get a reply about whether you had ever played the game? Come on matey ... I would like to test my theory about non-players being more cruel on the keyboard than ex-players?

Oh dear, my pet obsessive stalker's back.
Yes, good old me. Good old match day going, merchandise buying, meeting attending, flak taking (from fans of other clubs), watching trophy winning, depressed for days after losing, me.
As Wires7 alluded to, earlier, I fail to understand what my level of playing RL in the past, has to do with my opinion on a current club player. As someone who's supported this club for very close on 40 years, therefore "invested" huge amounts of money and time, I see the likes of myself (and others) as a "shareholder". Match days, and indeed forums, are almost like shareholders meetings, where you get to give your opinion, wether good or bad.
If you're still waiting to [itest your theory[/i, I wouldn't hold your breath, you'll be waiting a long time with me, as it's irrelevant. Almost like a girl in a 1980's school playground hearing someone [idissing[/i Simon Le Bon, and reacting "I'd like to hear YOU sing better"(not difficult with Le Bon......check out his "rendition of A View To a Kill at Live Aid......ouch).
The standard of debate on here is dwindling, again. It's almost like having that plant pot Charlie Wong back, from this time last year.
Anyway
Back on thread.
He's not playing on Sunday. IMO, we'll have 17 people fully committed in getting to Wembley. His showings for the last 2 or 3 months would indicate (to me, and others on here) that his commitment levels have dropped below the level of Danny Lima, and that's low.

You just don't know when to stop do you? Poor old Simon Le Bon ... leave the lad alone. You're a keyboard bully.

| If we find out that Simon Le Bon has thrown himself off his yacht in the Med. ... you are going to feel guilty about your thoughtless cruel comments. Think about it.

Not sure if your joking here or being serious but if it’s the latter sounds like you need a weeks meditation in a monastery.

| It is a bit of a problem the written word. If you hear someone you can usually work out if they are serious or not. Just having a bit of fun really.
I'm hoping we don't hear too much from "the negs" today.
