Did somebody really write to the RFL to complain, christ on a bike. They'll probably complain that the RFL didn't respond as well - guess what; they have things that are just a teeny, weeny little bit more important than your stupid e-mail of complaint that is on a par to the Wigan fan who complained about Morley and Carvell getting off their bans last year.
I love the idea and will be there supporting the concept, couldn't give a toss who wins and accept its on a Friday for tv.'"

I think we all need to stop being parochial and start to support these initiatives for the good of the game.
No matter when it is played it would cause some disruption.

Agreed.
I also think that initially it should have been played at one of the smaller grounds (Widnes, Wire, Leigh, Doncaster) and build up the interest over a few years.
Saints or Salford next year could also be used.
As I said previously it should have been played on a rugby free weekend to encourage all RL supporters to attend. |

Some is better than major, a Friday before a bank holiday monday the players could back up easily. |

The timings not ideal, i'd have played wednesday without a doubt.
Secondly, you're all moaning for nothing, theres no way on earth Atkins will be let near an England shirt again anytime soon after November and Harrison may get a sub spot by fluke, especially if Widdop, Burgess and Ellis come over. 4 or 5 down at most
