Quote sally cinnamon="sally cinnamon"It's a good job we've got the strongest Wire squad in years. As everybody knows we've got more than enough cover and competition for positions, thats what so great about the Warrington side these days. Will Briers be able to get into the squad when he's back fit...? you do wonder ?'"
Obviously, I get what you do like, but ....
That's what should happen here for me, this is like an acid test of our ambitions. You can come up with at least eight genuine options to rebalance the team, Vinnie at centre, Blythe, Grix, Grix to the halves, Mathers, Vinnie, Solomona has been mentioned and on and on.
If we get through this 'no Briers' period unscathed, ie, lets say he misses eight games, if we win 6 or 7, well, we're the real deal aren't we. If we win two, well, we're what we've always been, and Smith has got a job on his hands to plan post Lee.
We've got the best man in charge to come up with a different game plan, for sure. If anyone can devise a plan & execute it, it's Smith.
Assuming Bridge is fit, you leave him & Monas where they are. We're getting the best out fo them where they are. Monas is a matchwinner from 9 anyhow, so we're not struggling there.
