If TS goes, I'd go for Richard Marshall. I've no idea if he'd be any good, but hey ho, why not?

Someone on Facebook suggested the lollipop man off Long Lane. Made me chuckle. Rationale being that it could not get any worse and wouldn't cost us £250K per annum in the process.

| I predict that just before the Wigan cup game Wolfie will run on the pitch & expose himself as the new coach, probably a top Aussie one.

A bit like the Joel Monaghan scandal in reverse?
If wolfie ran onto the pitch to expose himself he might be at risk of actually creating a try which would be against our game plan.

Did we ever slide down the table. ..?
To my mind we never climbed out of the bottom so have had very little room to slide down to.
One thing is certain after 2 games some of us spotted something dreadful and we haven't been proved wrong throughout the entire season.
We are going to get the same results from Smith's team...a lack of discipline lack of skill lack of game winning mentality lack of wins.
I am resigning myself to relegation. ...and no good can come of that. This is all hugely disappointing.
We were two points behind Saints when they sacked Cunningham....they haven't turned into world beaters but they'll be in a different league to us next month. ....

Yes Saints acted and we didn't. They will have Top 4 as a stretch target, whereas we have bottom 4 as a racing certainty.
Failing to plan, was planning to fail.

| If the worst does come to the worst climbing out of the Championship will be much harder than avoiding the drop.

| How the mighty have fallen, or are falling.
It's a sorry tail of influential people at the club all taking their eyes off the ball in unison.
What was the cause ?
Apathy, Arrogance, Recruitment, Leadership etc etc...
Hard to believe that all this was bubbling under during last season's heroics and the cracks were so well papered over later still with that other heroic effort against world class NRL opposition.
Well anyway the wheels well and truly 'came off.
I'm not sure any of the RL watching world really know why, it's a conundrum without one answer but many.
But for sure many have taken their eyes off the ball and all have waited with some arrogance for it just to fit back together without one key ingredient. CHANGE.
