| A win is a win, great effort in the last 5 minutes to be fair to the lads they really dug in there.
Not convincing at all but we deserved the win last time against Hull so this is a little bit of justice.

| Strange game in that Widdop and Williams did run hard but we never looked like scoring a try.

Matt isn't wanted by wire, what do you expect? Lammy will look after him, don't you worry about that. I've never rated Daryl Powell personally, and if you don't get it right next season, you're in the brown stuff. All the best for you guys.

| The real winner tonight is Steve Price. His stock goes up with every game.

| I still think it's hard to settle on a regular 17. I guess King will be back next week. Currie made a couple of half breaks but for me is still too soft and gave away a couple of penalties. Where is Amor? Maybe he will get his chance next week as it looks like Philbin will be out for a while. Matt Davis? championship player at best. I'd swap him for Jason Clark. Harrison went ok. Mikaele was great.
I reckon we need to start Walker and bring Clarke off the bench moving forward.

You're right, lam will turn matt Davis in to a man of Steel contender
After a year you will be saying the same as us, he's full of effort but he's too small, you will get the best out of him if you use him as interchange 9 which is his best role IMO.

| Which one of the Sky bottomholes shouted "come on, Hull FC", with about 5 minutes to go?
I thought they were supposed to be impartial?

| Young players excellent again. Mikaele and Harrison real positives for us and provided us with real impetus.
It's going to take time, but there were positive signs, especially in terms of effort. I think the team look a little nervy which is understandable, but hopefully those 2 points might take some pressure off and we can open up more next game.

Amor picked up an injury, should be back next week or the week after. King could come back in, ratch wasn't perfect at centre. Honestly though the worst part of our whole game was the tactical kicking. Powell has to stop using Williams for our last tackle plays, he doesn't have it in him and its not his fault that it's so poor he shouldn't be kicking in the first place.
