Don't get much more Australian than an aboriginal!!
I think the rule is max 7 non fed trained, with 5 of those allowed from Aus/NZ. So any Samoan/png/Tongan etc.

| Quote: Fantastic Mr Catpiss "Well, I wasn't a huge fan of signing Sandow, obviously it was expecting miracles for him to single handed pull us through the 8s into the playoffs, but still I'd expect to see some individual brilliance just based on defences over Herr not being familiar with him. But it hasn't happened and opposition have took the mickey.
Thursday night, he had a smile on his face, and it just made me think, for years we had briers and very little respect from other fans, I want them all to loving hate sandow next year, I want him to be a cocky nice bloke and for teams to be terrified of him.
I'm feeling a little bit more encouraged. More so than about a month ago.'"
I haven't been at all impressed with Sandow until the Catalans game, and then on Thursday I thought he was excellent. The big positive is that he's got a kicking game, which we've not had since Briers finished.

| Moley says on Twitter that we nearly signed a big forward from the NRL a couple of days ago but it fell through.

Wow! If true it would be sensational. Hopefully we've not persuaded Dominique Peyroux to switch from Nz warriors to Saints to us instead as I'd never live it down

| You might as well have ended that post with, BUT I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU HOW I KNOW MWAHAHAHAHAAHAHAA.
I don't watch the NRL but 45 appearances in 5 years? That's low, he can't be a regular first team choice player... though I'm digging the hair do, the club shop will have the wigs in in no time.

| By the looks of it someone else in the same position by the name of David Bhana is leaving too this year. To be honest though we might as well throw every single free agent into play at this point. I'm wondering if we do sign two more players who is going to be taking a seat in the stands more often than not next year? At this rate Smith is going to have a headache for team selection. It's looking good that we're bringing in players that are versatile.

| Can't we tempt any of the Sims lads over?
Better still both of them and have the SL version on the Burgess story.
We can have Slammin Ashton t-shirts made up

| Is it telling that the following names appear on the UK top searches for New Zealand rugby league players recently:
Sione Louisi, Sebastine Ikahihifo and David Fusitu'a
Two linked with Warrington on here and on Twitter and the other a fringe NZ Warriors youngster who is rumoured to be headed to Super League?

| All very well ,but will they come to get stuck in & play or just be another overpaid, overhyped poor signing? Has the club done its homework this time or is the HJ turning into a rest home for ex NRL journey men?
