If at some point he goes to union (can't believe I'm entering this bloody discussion) so what ?

a) We are a club that spends at cap limit we can replace him
b) If he's getting more money who else wouldn't in his position
c) If he puts in a couple of good seasons he'll have rewarded Wire enough for the time they have put in with him.

He's at Wire right now, he's playing right now, he's doing well right now, is that not enough rather than worrying about some hypothetical scenario in which he changes codes ?

I agree with a lot of that. Maybe all of it. The annoying thing with Ashton and Eastmond, i think. Is people claimed they were given a chance and didn't perform. They were results of the academy and then at the first sniff they move on. I would be happy for Rhys to give us a few good years.

I think he may well go. I hope to be proven wrong but, it is nice to prepare for it.
