He hasn't had a pre-season so I would imagine that he was some way off being fit. The question is, when fit, will he be good enough to take the 2nd Prop spot on the bench (Hill and Cooper to start then Philbin and Alauola / Latu)? Or is he another Tasi?

I hope not, He had rave reviews when he first hit the scene and fans kicked off when he was allowed to leave for Gold coast. But injurys and a drop in form saw him not hit that potential. But he played for the indigenous all stars and has a cap for Tonga so the Ability is there, he just needs the right coaching and frame of mind etc so i'm hoping we've finally unearthed a gem and get it right with him

Gold coast seems to be a graveyard for players careers. The only person i know to flock back there was our Tyrone

I don't think he ever actually played a game for Gold coast due to injury? I could be wrong though, i remember him playing about 2-3 games for us then breaking his arm and retiring. I was so excited when we signed him aswell
