I think he's implying he knows something the rest of us don't and that Dodds has the option to stay an extra year. Not saying you're wrong RD but I don't recall an option for a 2nd year being reported when he signed and can't find anything about this anywhere on the internets.

I hope you're right though, he looked better than anyone in our team at bringing a player down in the short time he actually turned out for us and if he's good to go I say give him the chance to show some more

Don't think so. Patton was good against Hull but if we're honest FC had a poor game in attack so the defensive workload was not great. Saints will be far more dangerous. TS made the mistake after we beat Saints away in the last play-off eliminator in 2012 of keeping Mike Cooper in the side for the final. This was on the basis that he had a one-off storming game against the Saints that night, and he failed to play to the same standard in the GF ( and I'm a Cooper fan, BTW ). Play your best players when fit, and Gidley is one of our best. There will be a huge sigh of relief from Saints fans if he's not in our starting 13.

I never said Dodds had an option when he signed. I said he looks likely to take up his (or a or an)option to stay another 12 months that I have heard he is rumoured to have, if, when or why that was discussed or arranged I have no idea.
....and another prop rumoured to be announced. So if the prop rumour is true, then I can guess Bailey or Cox will make way because the rumour say Dodds stays.
Not heard about extensions for either for either Bailey or Cox...I would think if there was going to be, Bailey could be favourite. My guess not rumour.
