Quote: The Speculator "Unfortunately, unless you are one of the 12,000 people to have been recruited by the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board to act as representatives of the overall UK viewing public, then the official viewing figure for a match will not be affected by whether you watch it or not. Official TV viewing figures are based solely on those 12,000 monitored people, with some groovy mathematical formula being used to convert those figures into a national number.'"
I understand that's the case for conventional DVB-T broadcast, but sky have a viewing panel of 4M users. Do they not use that to estimate viewing figures?

| Hull KR every single day of the week, knock them down a peg and wipe the smug look Peet constantly has off his face.......but Wigan will win.
Yet another final i won't be watching.

| If it was possible for neither to win it would be nice.

| Just hope Hurricane Milton takes an unforeseen detour towards Trafford at 18:00 hours Saturday….and leaves the place looking like East Hull

Thought it already looked like that. More depressing is the Grand Final is still in that stadium for next 3 years meaning it’s no nearer to being knocked down.

I wouldn't read too much into it. If MUFC want to demolish OT a contract for 3 games with Superleague is not going to be a barrier and willl no doubt be covered in the contract.

Very much doubt that MUFC would be able to obtain planning permission and build a new stadium within this 3 year period.
They won`t move from the existing ground until the new stadium is completed and ready to move to.

I'll be making representation to the planning committee that there's sufficient space behind the new Stretford and Scoreboard Ends for a proper in goal area

| Could you also make a planning request for car parking that isn't run by the criminal underworld?

| I couldn’t care less who wins.
However. It would carry move gravitas if it were the SL champions that get beaten in Las Vegas.

| Now we are on the day of the game, I can't stand the thought of Peet, with his painted-on hair and perma-smirk, coming out on top. Especially as he would write a patronising letter to every one of the Hull KR players' mums afterwards thanking them for raising their son (with mini bottle of Loch Lomond whisky).
So it's Hull KR for me. But I'd enjoy it much more if Lewis got sent off for something egregious.

| His smirk was absent when we put 40 points on them but agree - especially the painted on hair.
