| When you can’t do the basics right, keep hold of the ball complete sets you’re not going to win games. Lots of work for Powell to do. To concede 30 is also a kick in the teeth.

| I'm not going to defend the performance tonight as it sounds as though we were poor. But 2 of the 3 games we've lost were backing up after playing catalans away. Once v Wigan and tonight against a leigh side on fire. I'm not making excuses, but It might have had some effect. Oh, and stop the ridiculous twitter videos, they don't help either!!

| I couldn't make it tonight...sounds like it was brain fart central. Was is a case of lazy start and then forcing the game to catch up or was it just dross from start to finish. TBH it's the defeat we maybe needed in a strange way
Wakefield was a let off and 40 mins of the KR game was e too.
I do quite like the fact that the team that have come up aren't going straight back down.. having a yo-yo league is boring. I'm also happy that wasn't the case last year!!!!

Not making him a scapegoat at all, but anyone with half an eye for the game can see that Dean is not good enough at this level and has never shown any sign that he is.
He's 21 now and I'll make a pretty safe prediction that he will never be a first team regular with us and will likely be released come season's end, where he will carve out a career in the championship.

How do we know this, as I don't think that away to Leigh in the league, 10 wins out of 13...does actually count? Losing sucks but bit of an overreaction I think. Wigan and Saints have been losing games all over the show and that's why they are still behind us. It's a long season, chill ya boots son

I meant like when we played them, not tonight per se. They (Pies and Stains) both obviously turned it up a few notches when they played us, especially Saints, who's fans are unanimous that their performance against us was the very best of this year. Maybe I am overreacting, because we've turned it on twice in the South of France, but time will tell what happens when we play another game that truly 'counts', next one is the Wigan cup game I guess.

I think Patton had far more chances than Dean and there's still a chance that there's a player in there.
A knock on early doors then not finding touch which they turned us around and scored from really rocked the lad.
BTW not too many can hold their head high tonight too many errors of every kind we never got on the front foot credit to Leigh who were well up for it. Williams was our best player and Philbin caught the eye in his first stint other than that not a lot to cheer about

You are right about the rest of the team but they won’t be dropped like he will. It’s why I said in an earlier post it would be unfair to make him the scapegoat, but as DSM says and it could be true is he will likely end up going and is why I referenced Dec Patton. It’s what this club as done for a long time Gaz 0’Brian another one but he as done better. Anyways we will see if he gets another chance or just cast aside.

| Intensity, help me out am I missing something here. Asking because I have never seen it in us even when we have still won games.
Other teams play with more and ok may run out of steam hence we still manage to win. We can get off to s great start then just stop which allows the other teams a foothold back into the game.
I look at our performances and it looks like they just turning up for a training match, like I’ve said help me out here because it’s what I’m seeing and don’t know if I’m missing something.
Or is it Baldrick cunning plan that’s to cunning for even Blackadder and we are giving all the other teams a false sense of security and all will be revealed come the play offs

| We do have intensity, take nothing from Leigh but I think we are a bit fatigued at the minute. Anyone can beat anyone in this league. Also Lam, Leutele, Asiata, O’Donnell, Hardaker, Charnley easily get into our side and they’re surrounded by some decent players too. We’ve no right to expect to turn Leigh over especially as our second row and centres are pretty poor and Mikaele offered a lot more than we realised.
I expected that result tonight, be interesting how we respond next week. One thing I’m worried about which has happened over the past 6/7 weeks is that we have weirdly just lost invention in attack when we showed plenty early doors…..there’s no reason that should just disappear.

I think you've hit the nail on the head we do have a cunning plan we are top of the league whilst avoiding the trap of peaking to early
