If true that would be a good move. Back end of his career so one would assume that 2 years, as opposed to 1, would be at a significantly reduced level. He probably wouldn't play as many games over the next couple of years but he can cover a number of positions and, critically, he could be Plan B should we fail to secure the services of another, possibly marquee, halfback.

Wouldn't be bothered if we didn't sign him to be honest. Ratchford at stand off with Riley Dean as his understudy maybe?

If Ratchford has signed somewhere else i reckon it would be Salford. A 2 year deal at 34 doesn't seem realistic, but you never know?

King, Currie, Magoulias have not shown they deserve a place. Indeed if their contract was up this season they wouldnt get renewed.

Williams dedinately wouldn't lose his place even with his awful form. Powell won't drop a marquee player even if he should be. Most coaches won't which is daft.
