You’re kidding yourself on if you genuinely think you’ll win the lot, you’ve still got a lot of bang average players(Patton, King, Atkins etc). Leeds were absolutely appalling, that performance from them warranted a 50 point defeat. Yes Warrington were good but there was a big element of them being made to look good, Kendall gave some ridiculously soft penalties in the first half as well. All it takes is Blake Austin to get injured for a long enough period and your chances of silverware evaporate. That said you are a good side and it’ll be between Saints and Warrington for the silverware this year.

Our depth in forwards is far stronger than yours. The list of every forward we’ve got is as follows: Thompson, Roby, Walmsley, Taia, Peyroux, Knowles, Paulo, LMS, Lees, Amor, Douglas, Smith, Ashworth, Bentley, Batchelor. There’s nothing shallow about that and we have the best pack in the league without a doubt. We have at least one top end super league in nearly every position so too say Wakefield are the strongest chaser (don’t know how you’ve decided it’s Warrington they’ll be chasing) is just plain stupid.

No arrogance from me this year. Saints and Warrington are a fair bit ahead of everyone else. Both sides have got better and Wigan have got worse with the players they’ve lost and a new coach coming in. None of the other teams are close either, really. There will come a time when Saints will win a big game and same for Warrington with finals.

I agree. I thought he was solid but his last tackle plays weren't great. The kick to Lineham near me went about 2 metres over the touch line. Overall though a reasonable performance and hopefully something to build on.

It's hard to look beyond Ratchford Clark or Austin for MOS in Wire colours.
If Ratchford keeps up this form then he'll definitely be short list, if they have one.
