| On SO'L, it's a game of opinions but I think some of the comments are way off the mark. He might not be right at the peak of his powers anymore, but he is a player that would walk into our side of the early-mid 90s and is very much in the class of Farrell or Sculthorpe. I think most Wigan fans of an age to have seen both would probably put Farrell as slightly better, but his all round play and effect on the team really is exceptional. Passes as well as any half back, runs and tackles as well as any prop. Not sure about this year, but if you look at our win % with him in the team & without in the last couple of seasons, the difference is ridiculous.
In terms of next season, I'm actually pretty concerned that next year will actually be your year! I can only see us taking a step back with Wane & key players leaving, and I don't think Leeds have players to make enough of a step up in one season. Depending on how they bounce back, I think you, Cas & Saints will be in the mix.

Yeah but you also said
Quote: AS108 "I pray that 2 of Livett, G. King and Thompson play. 3 awful players.'"
And 2 of those 'awful players' wiped the floor with your league leading pack. So excuse us if we dont take YOUR word as gospel

No they didn’t, just because they played in a team that won a game by 5 points doesn’t mean they wiped the floor with anyone. I presume you’re talking about the George King who made 17 metres from two carries and the Bodene Thompson who made 60 metres from 11 carries

In play-off games, the winning margin is immaterial, you just need to win to proceed to the next round.

Completely irrelevant to my point. I never said the winning margin is important. I’m simply saying that nobody wiped the floor with anyone given that the margin of victory was within a try. Especially not George King and Bodene Thompson.

But you did quote the winning margin, as if it did matter.
Otherwise why quote it?

| The Saints players definitely looked like they had been spanked, difficult to comment on the fans, they disappeared while I was celebrating.

| Ps putting laughing emojis on a post doesn’t make a post funny, it’s like the laughter track on “Still open all hours” starring nobodies funny man J Vegas.

Generally you are disappointed after losing a semi final, whatever the score line. Not sure what the eagerness to go on about the game is about, all it didn’t was delay your inevitable disappointment for a week and a bit.

The way you feel the need to bring up Johnny Vegas because he’s from St Helens is very bizarre. Also, as anyone with any sense would be able to recognise, I didn’t put laughing emojis because the post was funny. I was laughing at the fact someone tried to prove me wrong by telling me George King and Bodene Thompson wiped the floor with our pack, when quite clearly they didn’t.

Dear me. I didn’t quote it because it was important. I quoted it because it backs up the point that no Warrington player wiped the floor with any Saints player.
