Salford average attendance last year was 4,461, so presumably Koucash must be putting in a fair amount of his own money to keep the club afloat. This year he scrapped the Academy to save money and of course the Sky money in 2017 pays for the squad salaries.
The average SL attendance at the HJ this year is 10,529 compared to 11,092 last year - not too bad considering our league position and the pretty shocking rugby on display. But then I think the Leeds attendance held up well last year as well when they dropped into the middle 8's.
