Warrington are a raindrop on our window. We're St Helens, a club that demands and expects championships and ultimately, attains them. We don't pray every year to be taken seriously; we are taken very seriously because of the reality of whom we are. A select few clubs in world sport are privy to such a position. Warrington, sadly, will never attain such prestige.

Not trolling. I was responding directly to you and your inane crap. In a genuine chat about the relative merits of two of this year's leading threats, all you're intent on doing is suggesting that Saints somehow 'swerved' Warrington and would have lost anyhow. Basically, schoolboy, immature nonsense. I simply pointed out that Warrington are nothing to a club of the stature of St Helens. You'd be as well throwing your inane rubbish at Castleford fans or another club at your kind of traditional level.
......
Seven years ?!?! You're putting Warrington level pegging with St Helens because of the last seven years ?!?! Are you a delinquent ?
Here's a history lesson. Saints won the championship more times between 1999 and 2006 than Warrington have in their entire history. During your glory period of the 1950's, St Helens won as many championships as you did. In our barren spell between 2007 and now (the last seven years as you declare), we won more championships than Warrington have done in the last 59 years. You've got a decent record in the cup now after your little run recently, prior to that you'd won the cup the same amount of times as Halifax and Wakefield.
You're a plucky club slowly gaining some relevancy back in the upper regions of British RL. Leeds, Wigan and St Helens you are not.'"
It's a shame you've said this as i've always associated this kind of outlook with a lot of Wigan fans (no offence to the decent Wigners) and not really fans of other clubs so much. Saints are a club i've admired in the SL era for the way you played rugby. I enjoyed watching you, apart from all those times you beat us! And you are one of the most successful clubs in the sport. But you really fall down with a load of that absolute garbage you spout.
So while we're at it with the history lesson...What is Saints traditional/historic level? Swinton and Oldham were once a premier club in our sport. Both won a great deal more trophies than you did for the first 60-70 years of the existence of competition in this sport. As did Wire! So is Saints' traditional level just a level of club that wins nowt? If there was a RLFANS.com between the wars you'd probably have fans of either of those clubs saying things like "haha, Saint Helens...they're a joke...they've won naff all compared to us, they'll never attain such prestige as our club". Both had won three championships and three challenge cups at a time when your trophy haul for those two main trophies reckoned up to a big fat '0'. At a time Wire had won a lot more than you as well!
You were, for a huge proportion of time in this sport, serially winning absolutely nothing, merely a raindrop on Swinton and Oldham's and even little old Wire's window. But where are Swinton and Oldham now? Things change and maybe one day soon Saint Helens will fall back to being the club you were for decade after decade in the many decades right up to the 1950s and maybe Swinton and Oldham will usurp you back to being far better and successful rugby league clubs than you like they were for a long long time, eh?
As your club has shown it doesn't take much to go from absolute nobodies to being one of the most successful clubs in the sport so don't be at it with the "Warrington, sadly, will never attain such prestige" garbage. Because it can easily turn around. Just like looking at our fortunes in recent decades (where we still won more than you did before 1950), and the way Swinton and Oldham have just disappeared from competing, not just for titles, but also in the top leagues.
