It wasn't the worst game ever. But when Wigan kicked out on the full at the kick off I said they are hear for the taking. And they should have been they were quite poor however Hull were dire and really had no idea on how to catch a rugby ball or kick it. The game breaker was when Hull broke on that run to the try line if he had scored instead of having the ball knocked away. Hull would have gone on and won it. As soon as the ball was lost I said that's the game for Wigan

I'd rather watch a rerun of the final from Saturday 10 times than have to watch the Man U Chelsea game I've just sat through .
Next to no passion on the pitch extremely poor product to watch yet the place will still be a sell out next week . Shows you the difference in fans / were a fickle bunch in RL

Indeed. Yet another 90 minutes of football in which [inothing[/i happened, well apart from a few players rolling melodramatically around on the floor every so often. Why do people pay to watch that drivel??

I didn't have the 'opportunity' to watch the Final save for 20 minutes just before half time due to other commitments so i'm not prepared to comment on the perceived quality of the fare on offer.

However, what I will say is that I find this thread an embarrassment. It's not as though our form has been particularly sparkling of late and we certainly can't claim that we were robbed of a place in this years' Final.

What has our form got to do with a final involving Wigan and Hull? thats what this thread is discussing, It was a terrible final knock ons became the norm with no real skill showed...

Because, had we got that last gasp score against Hull in the semi, the final probably would have been very much the same. I even commented during the game that Hull were 'doing a Wire' (tongue in cheek of course).

Poor final for the neutral (and Hull) spectator, but that's sport. It happens!

If somebody offered a 6-0 win at Old Trafford in the dullest most spectacularly boring and error strewn game in the history of RL I'd take it.
