| Throwing objects on the pitch is ridiculous. I can't understand why someone would do it, but then again, mindless idiots are part of every clubs fan base.
These people should be ejected, banned and named and shamed. Put their picture and name in the newspaper and advertise the stupidity of the man (or woman) Hopefully shames people into not doing it in future

Completely agree it's idiotic and they should be charged, banned & vilified by their own supporters, however publicising those responsible would only shame them if they felt remorse for their actions. Otherwise they would see it as a "badge of honour". Don't give them the satisfaction.

| For anybody that follows #AskTheRef on Twitter, some of Tim Roby's responses to Hull KR fan questions are amuzing...

I find that whole thing a disaster waiting to happen to be honest. I read them yesterday and cringed to be honest. We are suppose to respect the officials but they respond with such replies, have seen a lot across the board, not involving HKR, and at some point they are going to be taken offence too. Giving a smart response isnt really going to gain respect is it? Makes them look a little more human but thats about it. I like the concept but it will end badly at some point. Unnecessary arguments will come from it.

| There's a reason other sports don't have an official #AsktheRef - it's a PR disaster waiting to happen. All it will take is for one of these online spats to spill over into the real world and it's fold like a house of cards.
I'm all for accountability of refs but it should be through an official body, releasing open statements about refs performance (ie admitting when they get it wrong and actually doing something about it). All this does is allow idiots to abuse the ref personally and if the ref's are dumb enough to respond in kind then they're dragged down from a position of remote authority into the muck of a slanging match.

Agreed. It should be a proper response to proper questions, not this Urban Dictionary rubbish as seen above.

| Seen in the Guardian that they've been charged with something or other.
