No. I honestly don't think they are held in such high esteem by the RL community other than perhaps at RedHall and people in the game. I'm sure most fans wouldn't have been massively suprised, or bothered if they folded.

Salford a historic club ? Give us a break. They haven't won a thing in my long lifetime...They have a fan base only a little bigger than Broncos. In fact when they came to the HJ the last time they could have fitted in one taxi....There are more clubs playing lower down with far more history than Salford.

I see there are some very short memories on this board. I remember not too long ago Wire being continuously a lower team in the division who hadn’t won anything for ages. Your sugar Daddy turns up and pumps millions in you and now your where you are. Must be nice sat in your ivory tower looking down but don’t forget that we all remember what you were so a bit of humility and less of the bashing because it will only come back to bit you on the Ar$e. If we get to where we want to be then I certainly won’t start sprout drivel about the lower teams and how , should they fold, no one would be bothered!
