50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| Hodgson knocked on, which was complete when it hit Leulai. Leulai knocked it forward and Delaney was in front of him when he did. Never a try in a million years and correct decision was made.

Spot on - my view exactly.
Fair play to Hodge for saying it was a perfectly legal challenge.

| Quote: PADDERS "How can Hodgeson losing the ball backwards be a knock on and TBF Leuluai knocked it out and it went forwards off him Delaney was offside so it's a no brainer penalty for offside or reaping the ball in a two man tackle ! Which ever way u look at it , it wasn't a Leeds scrum !'"
Wow hodgeson Knocked on it was not ripped out it was a tremendous hit there is then a second knock on and delaney picks the ball up runs and puts ball over the line.
The VR is required sees what happens first offence hodgeson knock on. Now as leeds had just scored or without VR looked like they had surely they were the attacking team no?

With us being the better side these days, we are licking our lips at inflicting more misery on Wire in the coming derby. I expect a fairly straight forward win.[/quote:1d72a5qw][b:1d72a5qw]Wire 44 - 6 Widnes[/b:1d72a5qw]

I think 'scrum defence' was given since Leeds were the defending side prior to the first knock on by The Hodge, which is what the call was made on and what set off the 'chain of events'. The fact that Leeds came out on the attack is irrelevant, that is what happens with most calls like this; a team goes from defence to attack or vice-versa as a result of an incident that needs to be looked at.

| I've never understood why they don't just put 'Scrum Warrington' or 'Scrum Leeds' up instead of 'Scrum attack/defence', it would make things a lot more simple.

They might as well put 'Possession to Warrington' or 'Possession to Leeds'

Because they only have one machine and it cant cope with being reprogrammed with the names of the playing teams each game. Don't worry, come next season SKY will have developed 3D technology that will allow the play to be superimposed on the pitch during the live game including measure graphics and GPS on the ball but we will all need special (expensive) glasses to see it.
.
.
.
Either that, or its such a simply brilliant idea, the power that be have never thought of it!

45465_1384791340.jpg And last but not least, to all those people who wrote this team off.
To all those people who critisized this team...tonight's for you.

| Well done indeed. Thought we were lucky to be still in the hunt at HT. Our pack was just so weak that the real talent in the Rhinos team (our young Three-quarters) never had a chance to show what they can do. It was men against boys, although Peacock deserves credit. Our kicking game was pathetic (always easily read by Brett H) and yours was good. Generally a very poor game and I wish the Rhinos could have at least pushed the Wolves to at least make them fight for the trophy instead of the stroll it turned out to be.
Nice to see the Pies are as quick as ever to put the boot in to us. If we are so mediocre then what can you say for the team that was swept aside in the semi?
Would love to see Wire or Saints (or Leeds ) stuff the Pies in the play-offs or final.
