| With or Without Maguire Leeds have gamebreakers who can do us some serious damage.

| I think you will find McGuires injury is worse than those having pain killing injections.
He is forecast to be out 6 to 8 weeks.
Burrow also out of the Cats game injured and Webb not even named in the 17 for Saturdays game which seems an odd one.

We know. Most on here are gutted for the lad to be missing out. Only Odem is pleased.

| When I was 12 I would have been overjoyed at playing the better teams with half their players out injured. But then I grew up and realised that playing opponents at their best is actually what sport is all about.
I genuinely hope neither side loses anyone else before the final.

| Now Rob Burrow is a doubt according to McDermott and is clearly a load of guff. He seems to like paying these games, it indicates a flaw to me. Negative posturing can only lead to negative results.

Mind games don't really come into it with McDermott. I'm not even sure he'd know how to play mind games. He's as open and honest as they come. I've no doubt that Burrow is slightly doubtful for the final, I've also no doubt that he'll play, they'll get him on the field somehow.
On the flip side, we played Kallum Watkins in the final last season when he was a 50/50 chance in the week leading up to it. Turns out that was a big mistake as he was ineffective and it ended his season, so it's not a mistake they'll be wanting to repeat.
