| Rush's reaction at the end was an embarrassment.

That must be why Saints are sweeping all before them in the League and CC......

Agree he was only one step away from walking over to Trent Robinson and sticking 2 fingers up in his face and singing nah nah nah nah nah we won.... pathetic actions from a coach of a renowned super league club.

Individual wins over a team doesn't mean you're better than them. Widnes beat Wigan and Salford beat us; they're not better than Wigan/Warrington.

I agree. Seems like he has zero decorum or class about him.

Our two main local rival both seem to currently have coaches who are similar in their attitude.

| Quote: Saddened! "That didn't happen though. His arm comes up after the challenge, as it always does when you bump shoulder to shoulder like that. It's poor technique by Henderson, Puletua did nothing wrong, plants his feet and makes a wall of his shouler and the side of his body.
SBW and Sam Burgess have made a career out of shots like that, absolutely nothing in it at all. Mr Morley too used to be raved about on here for putting in tackles like that.'"
Poor technique by Henderson? That's a poor excuse even by your standards. Keep your head down, it gets knocked off by Puletua, keep your head up, it gets knocked off by Perry, great choice! When you make a hit like that, you take your chances. It's your responsibility not to make contact with the head, and if you do, then you have to face the consequences.
The VR decision was terrible. Ian Smith seems to be doing his best to make a career out of controversial decisions. God help us if Smith and Child get together as a team.

Or Alibert as ref, Hicks and Child as TJ and Smith as VR.

I quite like Thierry. He got suspended for missing the tackle count twice, but will Smith get suspended as VR for the decision on Friday, or for the knock-on try by Greenshields a few weeks ago? Will Thaler get suspended for the knock on try by Leeds against Wigan in the semi? Thierry had no help from the TJ's or the fourth official. I think he's improved a lot in the past 2 years. Thaler, Child and Smith seem to thrive on controversy. Silverwood can't police the ruck properly, Ganson is by far the best for me.

| I think you'll find that most Saints fans are quite happy with a coach showing passion.
We've had coaches that where so unresponsive it simply looked like they did not care one way or the other win lose or draw.
Hopefully that won't change next year as NB is known for showing his emotions too. Remember that try in the playoffs at Warrington.
As for Saints not being in the same class as Wigan, Warrington, Catalan and Leeds.
Well you have one of those teams right, but the other 3 are fair game as far as we are concerned, the best thing about getting into 2nd or 3rd, is that with a stroke of luck we may never have to meet Wigan in the playoffs. Warrington are not all that this year though, pretty much even with ourselves. Some good performances some distinctly average.
It will be interesting to see what approach TS takes, as his run in to the challenge cup is Cas/Bradford/Saints/Wigan/London.
I'm expecting him to ramp it up and then do a Millward and give everyone the week off against London.

It does tickle me no end. Were Saints 'all that' scraping past Widnes? Were they all that, with their 'top class' performance against Catalans?
As for putting yourself on a par with Leeds; well, no.
