Well, well a Dobbins fan that thinks they are whiter than white, was you in the Crown pub when the Leeds coach got bricked as it went passed in 2008?? There are idiots in both clubs support base but to think it only applies to FC is head in the sand material. I have friends in Castleford that have vowed never to go to Caravan Park again because of threatening behaviour against them. Some of your posts are funny "fun time" well they make me laugh anyway. | ive been hull kr every year since they've been in superleague and most years there are just the odd morons that try and cause a scene but inside the ground i love the banter the goes across the stands  just outside the ground where they cant seem to take getting beat! |

As you say, all clubs have idiots who follow them, ours is no exception. As for the ground, I agree the south end in crap and should be made very cheap for away fans if they decide to come. The problem we have had is that it takes a lot of money (and time to raise it) to bring the ground up to a good standard, not a £43 million cheque from the council and cheap rent once its built.
I stand with my wife and grandkids in the east and on a few occasions we have had away fans stood near us, with nothing but a bit of banter going on. We usually walk along Preston Rd chatting to away fans and have never seen any fighting or problem with coaches yet (apart from a Saints fan flashing his buttocks in the back of a coach  ).
At the end of the day, fans will come and some will not, I suspect that the same ones who won't come will still be missing when you have use of the new £8.2 million pound stand in 2013.

I would assume that the new stand when complete will not be given over to away fans as that would be a crazy; where is it intended for away fans to go when the new stand is open.
I fear that the south stand will be a permanent location for away fans. |

Just as the temporary seats were, I assume. A portion for away fans. We would be mugs NOT to offer it to away fans.
I would think that a lot of fans who sit in the west stand might move and create space in that area. At the end of the day, the ground will hold around 11,000 when the north is built and we are averaging around 7,500, so there should be room. The club are also expected (by their own statement) to announce 'exciting' plans for the south stand in June. |

| We cant say we are happy fans are not coming because of the view, but for us to develop the stadium it has to happen, if you didnt have any away fans (Catalans and London etc) then this wouldnt be an issue. It isnt ideal for us but its what needs to happen for this season, next season if the North is the away end, you'll have the best stand we will have lol, i am sure back in the day we have all had to be somewhere we didnt want to be, still go and support our team. yes the view isnt great but its needed for the future of the club, cant make apologies for that, turn up, dont turn up, im hoping your team dont at least  |

One of my worst recent experiences watching Wire was 2006 Quarter Final.
One of my best recent experiences watching Wire was 2009 Quarter Final.
Hull KR crowd were great in 2009. Real noise from the East Stand when Bridge lined up the equalising kick in the last minute.
Never had any trouble at Hull KR.

On hindsight, the board new they were going to develop the north stand first when we entered SL, a little more forward thinking and the golf stand should have been put at the south stand end and we would have had a true fours sided ground with good views in 2013.
Wire fans are usually at ours in good numbers and have usually been one of the biggest followings, hope a few turn up on Sunday to make it a good atmosphere. |
