Lefty, nobody from what ive read has blamed Richie Myler for our defeat tonight. People arem just commenting on the obvious which is how ineffective he is especially in a lot of our big games, he's no longer a rookie, he has plenty of SL experience now both with Salford and us so you would have expected a bit more by now than just being a support player when things are going well for the team.

He needs to step up when its obvious that both Lee Briers and Michael Monaghan are off there games, he can't just stand back in the line and hope someone else will do it, he needs to be taking the line on and asking questions a lot more than he does.

Judging by your post on the other page you must be either of 3 people

2. His Blue Peter girlfriend
3. His mum

Getting tired of this Jon Clarke was poor/average - get used to it. You make him sound like a Roby. He would never ever get in a serious SL competing side other than virtue of Cullens fecked up 4 year contract so he saw out his tail end with Wire. Smith chose Higham over him. Period.

Westwood on Lovegrove last season?


Westwood seems to be the guy who like to hurt the oppo, not necessarily with big hits though.

In fact how many players did Smith not extend? Clarke was one.

Agreed we will start to perform sooner or later and we have played poorly but still have points on the boardd.

Westwood likes to hurt and has the ability. Where else is it coming from? Our pack are not as I'd like them to be in that way. I can't see where the next monster hit / taken off field is coming from. Maybe (at 40) I'm old fashioned.

Some players are playing on past reputations and not enough under performers are being made an example off and given a week off to think about their game.

Carvell is garbage at the moment.

I think we agree and all points but that was not the most inept performance in 15 years. You have a short memory as that takes us back to 1997. We have been much worse in the interim.

PS - Love the bum banged. In fact that's what hurts most. Losing to those who look they are fresh from a Shameless TV shoot.

The only thing no one is criticising

Too many forwards, mainly Wood and Carvell not hitting through the line like they should, it's getting to the point where it has become predictable. They carry the ball to line instead of trying to win the collision and win the floor to gain a quick PTB they instead hit turn and throw pathetic offloads out of the back door. It's shambolic at times.

Hill and Cooper on the other hand are showing the other two up.

Hill I agree, were you happy with Cooper tonight?

Cooper didn't do anything special, he frustrated me though in that he always ran in to the most heavily populated area time after time, even on an overlap cut inside and ran in to traffic, nothing smart from him tonight but if we had to mark them all from top to bottom he was one of our better performers, unfortunately most of the team were average at best.

Not so much tonight as I have been so far this season. However, he didn't make a single error tonight, didn't turn the ball over in ridiculous fashion and at least attempted to win the collision stand and play the ball as quick as he could, which he won a penalty or two for as a result. The other two did the complete opposite of all of that.

Wood has been atrocious all season though.
