it was a very blasé performance tonight... just like the last few games.. it looks like the players have the same 'oh well we don't win anything until the end of the season' mentality that us fans now have. No respect for possession again... defeat was coming. i was hoping we would sort out the errors from the last few games.. but we didn't, we just carried on like nothing was wrong... mistake after mistake after mistake.... i was a miracle we went in 12-12 at half time... i don't think ive ever seen us make so many mistakes in one half of rugby.

having said that, on the few occasions we had the ball and we woke up we looked good..... no worries about the rest of the season at all.....

I like that Tony Smith puts an emphasis on entertainment. But, I thought he got it wrong tonight tactically. Had Wire played out a few more sets at the start of each half then they could have won the game IMO.

I know set completion is not everything but at one point it was 25% for wire. You simply will not win against any team with a stat like that.

I'm not getting too excited though, had Monaghan played you probably would have won the game. Same for saints with Roby. It would be a worry for both sides if those players were not playing at the back end of the year though.

How serious is the shoulder injury to Ratchford ?

we couldn't have made that game any harder for us to win if we had tried.... after the first few handling errors we should have put the ball up the jersey and got the completion rate up... but we didnt... we just got even worse.... it was a very amateurish display that smacked of complacency.

I agree. You only get better by making mistakes like certain players did at the back end of last year. Smith won't accept poor individual performances and I'm sure he'll make that known
