Bit stupid this thread about Clarke everytime we lose, everyone just makes the same point's. Clarke does look out of place in this current team but Solomona( who was great last season)is having a terrible season IMO. However i like to support anyone who puts on the shirt and aint a fan of putting all the blame on one player. As mentioned we win as a team and lose as a team.

Clarke isn't good enough now, Don't think anybody is making him a scapegoat or blaming him for the defeat, but surely in defeat you tend to look at your weakness's and clarke is a weaker link in our chain. As for solomona, i would've paid the entrance fee just to see him play, but now i'm dreading him coming on. His fitness has dropped alarmingly which i'm suprised has been allowed to happen.

Exactly....Solomona and Louis Anderson were both god awful yesterday....And Joel Monaghan also had his worse game for us since he signed....

I didn't think Clarke did a lot wrong and i'm not a big fan of his but he certainly wasn't the worst player on the pitch...

Anderson stunk the place out today....as did solomona.

Jon Clarke was his usual self...

Jon Clarke is solid pro that does what is asked of him in defence (never usually misses many tackles), gives very few penalties away (in comparison to Higham). His delivery from acting half or scrum half is usually very good.

People scapegoat the man because they don't usually want to pick on our so called stars. Yes I'm annoyed at our loss today but if we're honest not one of the players was up to much, not faulting the effort but the ability. This easter weekend does not do the players or fans any good.

Im not one to jump to his defence but they literally all had a stinker yesterday.

Solomona was dreadful yesterday and there was a general 'attitude' issue as far as i'm concerned. We walked through Salford on friday so its not as though we can blame fatigue etc either. Its simple really, if your attitude is wrong, you'll drop balls, fall off tackles etc.

Only time ive left the ground (this season) feeling genuinly dissapointed yesterday.

Lets be honest here Clarkey would have a job getting in a championship side on current form so it's quite puzzling why TS picks him and imo whoever puts Clarkey ahead of Higham must be deluded.Not saying for one min that Higham is spectacular but least he makes the occasional break and runs with the ball but having said that i totally agree that it's quite unfair that he should be made the scapegoat everytime the team loses,when he plays that is.

I'm no clarke fan by any means, but to single him out yesterday is out of order. He played in the same manner he always does, which is just workmanlike. He isn't a player i expect to turn a game for us. The ones that i do (monas and briers) both had very quiet games hence we offered little in attack.

He's rubbish but scapegoat is a bit excessive.
