It's all a little relative. For Wire fans, having not seen us lift any silverware in many fans lifetimes, lifting the CC and then retaining it is such a huge achievement that is probaly is better than just the one GF. I would imagine that for wigan fans, and this is true for the few I am friends with, lifting silverware is a relatively recent thing which, combined with their history, makes a GF win this year far more important than 2 CCs.
Personally I wouldn't swap 2 CCs for one GF, however I would far rather win the GF next year than a third CC.
I don't see the point in comparing our achievement with wigans. Both teams have come a very long way in a very short period of time, both can be very very proud of what they have acheived, and both will be at the very pointy end of the competition by round 27 next season.

in the last 23 years the Challenge cups been won by
Wigan, Saints, Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Sheffield, and Warrington
the last 13 years Superleague grand finals have involved all the above except Sheffield and Warrington........

to be honest at this point (as in october) I'd take anything.
A trip to wembley and a single win in the playoffs will make Jdrocket a happy boy. : )
come May i may well have my eyes on the GF for Warrington.
I think we've proved we are capable of Wembley, we just need to prove we are capable of Trafford.

Wanting to swap would diminish our achievements of the past 2 years and that is something I am not willing to do.
We should be proud of what our club has managed to achieve and to hell with anyone who disagrees.

Maybe you should look at who we beat on the way to retaining the Challenge Cup this year.
In fact, even last year, we faced 3 teams who were at the time in the top four of of SL, or certainly above us in the league. |

We beat 4 Super League clubs this season to win it and 3 in 2009.

I threw in one team, Hull, not TeamS …if you can’t see the general Comparison then that’s fine.
if it helps make an exact like for like 40 year comparison and you’ll see only 12 teams have been champions while only 13 have been cup winners and the names are largely the same except Salford and Dewsbury won the league but not the cup and Sheffield Cas and Wires won the cup but not the league
