| It happens at all clubs, take a look at Wigans attendances for the play offs, I REALLY don't get it though, people who have stood on the terraces week after week during the season and then when it comes to the Play Offs "huge games in reality" they go and stay away Who are these people, We all get them, (St Helens / Wigan / Leeds and Warrington)

| All the corporate seats at the back of the East stand were empty. Why?
Booing at half time was shameful after the season we have had.
Reminded me of the days when Paul Cullen was coach.

| I was there and was surprised with the amount of empty seats for such a big game tbh.
Oh well, roll on next season.

| sat in North stand and most of the usual faces who sit around us were there and all shared the same opinion that the booing was out of order, do you think that sort of thing will encourage the likes of matt king to stay beyond next season

| Wanted to go but couldn't get work off.
People don't like getting wet. Or queuing up.

| Only reason I didnt go is that I was away this weekend. Some people wouldnt have gone as the gave wasnt covered in the season ticket. Some people may have made other arrangements as they didnt expect us to be in the playoffs.
As for booing the team for their performance, Ive only seen the Superleague highlights so dont know if the whole first half was as bad as the highlights. TBH, I have no problme with the fans booing the team to express their opinion on the performance of the players. IMHO the sign of a true fan is that come the final whistle you know that you are 100% behind the team for the next match.

| There is a wider issue here. Crowds for PlayOff games are poor across the board. Whilst I don't get quite as worked up about it as Dropkick Murphy clearly does, I do share his frustration. We have about 8,000 season ticket holders (so I gather) so a good proportion of those didn't bother. Certainly looks to be the same at Wigan and probably at Saints. Compared to last years crowds, PlayOff attendances may actually rise but dig a little deeper (e.g. attendance vs capacity) and they'll more than likely be dissappointing. I went early to watch the 20s game - leading the the painful realisation that for the first 3/4 of 2 games I didn't see Warrington score a single point. However I felt like a mug having made the effort* to buy a ticket in advance when I could have rolled up at 615pm. Some sort of effort needs to be made to improve attendances at one off games - not by the club necessarily, possibly the RL.
No way on earth did Huddersfield bring 3,000. Maybe 1,500. That said, it was comfortably the best support they've ever brought to Warrington - both in numbers and noise. Probably the best performance from their team as well.
*and when I say made the effort, I mean send the Father in Law to get them.

| It was a cold night, costs to get in and it was on tv. We had a shockingly bad attendance on Thursday, just easier for people to stay at home and watch it on tv I guess,

| Mr Dropkick Murphy is absolutely correct. Season ticket holders were unhappy on here when the Saints tickets were available thinking they should have more rights to first dabs on tickets for big games (which I agree with) but then couldn't be bothered turning up for one of the biggest games of the season. We don't collectively deserve to even ask for a bigger ground.
As the Huddersfield fan mentioned, I think a lot of people thought Huddersfield would be a push over so they'd save their money for next week at Saints and it has backfired. It must have been down heartening for the players to come out and see so many empty seats in such a big game. You should never underestimate the power of a good atmosphere. Two of the best I've been at were the Johns Leeds game and the Widnes Lancashire Cup semi in 89. I was never in any doubt at them two games that we wouldn't win.
