| Quote: just_browny "Both Sculthorpe and Farrell stood up and performed at international level.
Cunningham never has, despite his ability.'"
Same could be said about Offiah compared to Brian Bevan.

| Quote: The All New Chester Wire "Harris's top level performances were over too short a period. Yes, I agree that Scully would be close to the others but I'd put him a slight notch down.'"
If we're talking the greatest British players since Hanley then I would say you could make a case for any of Farrell, Sculthorpe, Cunningham, Morley, Peacock, Senior. If pushed, Cunningham, Farrell and Morley would be my top three.

| Class player. Only Saints could do that to us. Full credit to them for finishing second despite so many injuries.

| The original post pre-supposes that an away fixture for Wire is a disadvanatage.
Quite honestly, I don't think we fear anyone, anywhere, as Paul Wellens said after the game - it doesn't really matter, as they are always tough encounters (paraphrasing in case someone has the actual narrative).
I genuinely don't think it matters - Cas managed to silence the KR faithful on more than one occasion, and I can see us doing the same tbh.
Talking to a die hard Saints fan at work this morning, who for the first time in a very long time was not giving it the 'another win for us again against you lot', but rather was complementing us on the League finish, and the way we are playing, and also pointing out that the 'hodoo' must end sometime, the Team, the spirit and the will we have now, has the ability to do it.
Bring em on, whoever, wherever.......
Maybe......just maybe....

Wire will beat Saints in the play-offs - I just hope it's in the first clash rather than the potential second.

| Have to agree that he is a great player, however after seeing him on the news with a gun in his hand and saying "the feeling you get when shooting a Deer is better than scoring a try at Wembley"
Clearly nobody else watches the news as this says to be that he will never be up there with the greats of rugby league

| His actual quote is "ten times better than scoring a try at wembley"
skip to about 5 mins on the video to see... he also says some other interesting stuff about how he'd love to do more of it but too much time is taken up by rugby, what a lovely guy who is clearly dedicated to the sport....
