| basically we just need to learn to play as good without briers as we do with him because that was the definate turning point in the match. the ref / vr didn't help though well done wigan though.

| Wish Ganson was reffing, he might have the balls to stop wigan cheating and send at least one of them off for consistent laying on at the play the ball!!
Only gripe from me tonight that is.
Oh, and the fact Wigan got two tries, and the penalty kick all from penalties that wigan got yet we should have got all game but never !!

| Guys
Lets just understand we dominated for 20 mins in the first half and did not score! That is why we did not win!!

Wembley 09 - if it never gets better than that, at least I was there....
Wembley 10 - it did........and I was there again.
2011 - SL League Leaders.
2012 - CC Winners...great day, great friends
Blimey, its getting good this supporting thing (or am I a fan.....):d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_24098.jpg |

| Its now the 'cold light of day'.
It was, a cracking game of rugby, played at a hell of a pace, with no-one taking a backward step.
We lost by 2 points - gutted, but its not the end of the World, its only the 3rd game in, and lets be honest we 'could' have won - thats how close it was, against a very good Wigan side.
My only worry after last night, is the picture I have in my mind as to what Stevo was doing when he went to bed last night, replaying the Tompkins kick over, that Wigan scored off.......we all know Stevo wants to have his babies....

| Cracking game of rugby & great atmosphere. Really thought we were going to do it near the end, but think the video ref gave 2 decisions to Wigan that were dodgy and that was the real difference.
Thought the lads gave their all & were out on their feet @ the end. Lets hope the injuries aren't that bad & we can get fit bodies back for Huddersfield next week

It was a great game for both clubs. Obviously I'm over the moon with the result but it is always a shame when a team has to lose a game of that intensity. Regarding the comment about Wigan couldn't play any better, I disagree. Your first half tries were all off mistakes and penalties from Wigan. If we had cut them out you [iprobably[/i wouldn't have scored.
All in all a classic game of modern super league RL. Big hits, good tries and loads of passion. Only thing missing was a bit of biff.
A big round of applause for both teams and both sets of fans within the ground for making a superb atmosphere.

Alot of the pens were given for Wigan slowing the play as we wanted to get on with it, in the first half I don't think Wigan could live with the speed we was playing at.

Hard working team with only one or two strike players that seemed to push the laying on in the tackle to the limit. It served Huddersfield well last season but i don't see where the 'extra' will come from the Wigan team. On the other hand Warrington have plenty of improvement yet.
