This will be the first season for a long while where we will have genuine cover for positions with the exception of Props.

Wood
Harrison
Cooper
Our back up players of Clarke, Grix, Riley, Vinnie would all have been first choice players only last season. With Penny, Blythe, McCarthy and Mitchell all making first team appearances.
Given that we also have one of the best coaches in the business, coupled with a first class stadium and a backer who has both the financial clout and a passion for the club we have every reason to feel good about next year.

No sally they should all have to work for their place in the squad but after the way the lad played last year, then he should not just be dropped because we have brought a new player in that is what i mean. |

Riley wasn't that great last year, hardly nailed on for a place, he made alot of high proflie mistakes that cost us but is exempt from getting slated on here. |

I agree with you Mark, it was Matt Kings Cat I was disagreeing with. Left side defence with the two of them there was non-existent on a regular basis |

Atkins defence not entirely up to scratch yet, so on that basis i'd start the season with King at centre. Brigde is undoubtedly a talent, but like so many Wire centres he just doesn't know when to pass the ball! Give Gleeson as much gip as you want but he always knew when to release the winger.
Much of my team is similar/same as the rest. No doubt injuries etc will influence the selection. Just good to see the depth of squad we have.
