Insert yourself into the laughable bracket mate. Graham or Morley? Morley. Graham or Carvell? Carvell. Sorted. Next? Graham as an impact prop though, thats an entirely different proposition.

I like James Graham and I especially like the way that he is used as virtually another loose forward however if to get James Graham we have to loose either Morley or Carvell to get him then no thank you.
He doesn't offer anywhere near as much of a lift or offer as many breaks as those 2.

How is he used as a loose forward Geordie? (not a trolling attempt a genuine question). He is our go forward, i wouldn't say he links our backs and pack. He often runs to the line and passes to put a man through a gap but that is good play. I haven't seen anything else to remotely suggest he plays like a loose forward.

| hmm but Geordie come on, have you seen the missed tackle count from those two? Grahams also got years and years left in him, if people wouldnt swap either of them tomorrow to get graham on a nice 4 or 5 year contract I think they're mad.
Bit unfair really though because all three are different types of players, very different

| James Graham passes the ball sometimes. Wow. Is it not obvious to anyone with half a brain that maybe opposition defences would be lining up two or three defenders to put a shot on Graham and, therefore, it makes so much sense tactically to have him hit an X-ball, drawing in another defender or two to the unders line runner, thus theoritically leaving space for his halfback to run at the line and use the ball?
I wish more teams did that, it's simple, but very effective Rugby and is hardly new, nor cowardice or lack of impact on Graham's part. Quite the opposite to be fair.

| Look at the ages of both Graham and Morley, think beyond Week 1 of 2010 and still tell me you wouldn't have him.
Giddiness is reaching laughable proportions for any of you who think you would be better off sticking with what you have got rather than signing James Graham

| Maybe Warrington could stick Gareth Carvell on the wing to exploit his pace wider if they cannot fit Graham into the team anywhere else?

The age is a major factor in why I would take Graham over Morley. Also in the here and now James Graham is a slightly better player IMO but only just.
People suggesting Carvell is superior, you need to take the P n' B tinted spectacles off for one minute and actually watch the games properly.

He'd be a better winger than Fancis Meli

I'm more than happy to have Morley for the whole of 2010 and 2011 in front of any prop in the world thanks.
By that time hopefully Graham will have matured a bit, proven himself not to be a flash in the pan and still be performing Morleyesque. If so we'll take him off you then!!

Difference being; under the current circumstances I can't see Graham still playing at Morley's age.
