I'd actually be happy with doing what we've done this season again next year, even if it did mean coming 10th in the league. I'd certainly rather win the Challenge Cup than do what Huddersfield have done.
In years to come if people ask what happened in the 2009 season I wonder what people will remember, who came 3rd, or who won the Challenge Cup?
Who won the Challenge Cup in 1998? lots of people know the answer to that one....where did they finish in the league, there's a tough one without Rothmans.... |

I'm gonna quote this and keep it as a sig. I never fully know when you are or aren't Sally-ing, but this is my trail of thought. Without getting too much into another cock measuring thread, but who gives a chuff if you finish top, second, third et al in the league tables and don't win? When fans look back at the 2007 and 2008 seasons, they will not be looking at Saints topping the table, they will be looking at Leeds being crowned as "Champions". |
