| We didn't do too bad on winning margin: won back the money we'd lost on first try scorer and Lance todd winner anyway!

| Three of us were dressed as banana-men which is a predominantly yellow and blue outfit - and when we were going around the London after the game we were asked many times why we were dressed that way - were we from Sweden or Chelsea supporters or on a stag do. It was also amazing how many young ladies wanted to have their photo's taken with us. Its the first time in my life that I could ever be described as a babe magnet.

| So many memories :-
Arriving at Warwick Services to a sea of P&B and having to que for the blokes bog !! They didn't know what had hit them !
Coming back to Warwick Services and being thanked by a WPC for being such a great bunch of people - then her pointing out those babes in the bikinis, saying - hardly dressed for Wembley are they - pmsl
Like someone else on here - slogging up the hill to the Green Man to meet all the our fellow Southstanders, as pre-arranged, only to find them not there. Still never mind managed a couple to still the nerves !!
Meeting my daughter in the Green Man, who'd travelled from Gt Yarmouth for the big day.
Having a drink with my mates along with other RL fans.
Walking back down the hill with 'Lefty' and then realising I never introduced myself - doh (I'm the Southerner if you remember)!
Hearing the final hooter, and my son taking the p.. coz there was a tear in my eye,. Celebrating with my mates and fellow fans, and hearing the words - 2009 Challenge Cup Winners - Warrington Wolves !!
What a simply amazing day !!

A guy I know from work was dressed as Bananaman (John), was he one of your group? The stories you are similar to what he told me.

| Amazing weekend, from start to finish. By finish, I mean like 10pm on Monday, just one of those weekends where you spend the weekend smiling, laughing etc.
Could go & on really, a couple of favourite moments.
- Having friends around on Monday, watch the game back, get a takeaway etc. We ordered some food, it was a bit pricey, so my mate had a change of heart and decided we'd order elsewhere but clearly felt that he had to give them a reason so simply said "Can I cancel that mate, my kids have fell down the stairs see."
- Penny chanting "Dougie, Dougie, Dougie..." on that bus, just made me laugh, oddly.
- Easily my favourite 'having seen it again' moment, is Vinnie Anderson and the "Ferkin Power Up Boys ...", amazing.
- Mathers leap and fist pump at FT, mega high.
- Briers at the final whistle, bit of Flintoff about him, comiserating Robinson, hauling him up off the floor, offering a few words etc, showed the class of him, despite what folk say about him. He could have been forgiven for endulging at that moment, he's a top man.
Just a brilliant weekend. Saturday was perfect, the journey, the weather, the performance, the banter, the company. Sunday was crazy, just crazy. Will live long in the memory.

| What a fantastic weekend, great memories - Only just coming down now!!
Friday night picking up the mini bus then all of us decking it out with our Tony Smiths Barmy Army banners and flags etc
Saturday Morn - Picking up our crew in various parts of Warrington and seeing everyone walking (fully decked out) to their various trains, coaches etc
The journey down stopping at the services on the M40 (not many Wire seemed to go that way!) and everyone asking who we were and where we were going
Pre match on Wembley way - Missus & mate DID have photo's with bananaman! having the banter with other fans and meeting old friends
Game - dropping my pint, getting half of one all over me that was destined for some troublesome Wakey fans and the result
Saturday night - Watching game again until falling asleep in drunken stuppor

| Memories..
Arriving at Bank Quay station for the Wire Flyer to be met with a legion of Primrose and Blue. (Never seen the platform as busy)! Shouting up to the guys who were near the top of one of the massive Crossfields towers who were watching us congregate.
Good laugh going down on the train, everyone adorning the train coach with the free flags they handed out.
Spotting the Wembley Arch for the first time from the carriage window - cue mass uproar.
Meeting up with family at the Hotel Ibis bar - stopping a few pints of cider from going bad!
Being overwhelmed by the size and spectacle that greeted us when we entered the ground for the first time.
Seeing Wolfie score the try under the sticks.
Using my programme as a visor for most of the match as I was sat directly facing the sun!
The joy of seeing us lift the cup.
The never-ending journey which was our train ride home.
Getting p#ss wet thorough standing on the town hall grass watching the lads parade the cup!
A couple of days that will live long in the memory!

For me the crack with the Wire fan stood with his gorgeous girlfriend and his mate at the Greyhound pub. Explained how he cried at the SF, I had goosebumops just listening to him, I also predicted to him that Wire would have to score 1st 2 tries to win.
To cap it all off the guy dressed as a knight with rubber w**lly when he slapped it on the bonnet of that girls car outside the pub, absoluteley priceless.
And just remembered about the guys with the inflatable horse costumes.
...oh and standing outside the pub for 2 hours drinking drink we bought from the offy over the road.
