| Reckon the original poster has a point.Sport nowadays,is all about hype.Saints/Wigan is a bigger game than Wire/Hudds wether you like it or not.Throw in the fact, that the CC is a dying competition and the final will not be a sell-out,then the game needs all the hype it can get.

| Another thread example of people taking the internet far too seriously.
Actually he does have a point; who does actually care about Huddersfield? If they are on SKY I don't watch (unless they are playing someone more interesting).
Oh and for the neutral the best spectacle as a match will be Warrington V Saints. FACT.

This.
Obvious trolling. And not the best, either, though he did get some big bites.
Everyone other than Hudds and Wigan fans (and even some of them will want it if their team loses) wants a Wire-Stains final.

Wigan vs Saints final would attract a bigger crowd at Wembley and more media coverage, it's their natural derby game. Not that it matters in the slightest.

| Thank you! Some sense at last.
Apart from the fact I never actually insulted Warrington in my post (and why would I when I have a business in the town? Duh!) I was clearly talking from the point of view that Wigan V St Helens - whether you like it or not - sells itself and will create hype in a way that other fixtures won't
Plus, I used the opportunity to have a pop at Huddersfield. Mainly cos it's in Yorkshire.
So - those of you who took my insults towards Warrington that I never actually made ever so to heart - please, feel free to re-read my comments and when you have done so, apologies for flying off the handle may be directed towards my PM.
Either way - this weekend's fixture is very exciting, and I can't wait.

Sorry but if Warrington got to Wembley it would sell out completely. We only do it once every 15-20 years so it's important and would attract the crowds. The likes of Mr F & others on here may not get to see another one

I want Saints vs Wigan darling . The thought of a loss to Wire at Wembley fills me with dread.

FOOL. wigan fans are boreing and saints fans boo there team when there top of the league.
if warrington win the semi the town will be buzzing with excitement. i think it will have a massive impact through out the town and would be much bigger than if wigan or saints or huddersfield get through.

Erm, yeh. Warrington winning the semi will have a good effect on Warrington and no effect on Wigan. Darn, I'd never have worked that one out.
So, what's your degree in?
