You kidding right?
Any SL player could have looked like a top international player against Bradford last night. They were poor and I mean very poor. What makes me laugh is I read this forum every day/week and Lee Briers has a topic on him every bleeding day.

| Quote: JWP "Talk on other threads of folk like King 'enjoying their rugby'. Look now further than Lee Briers for evidence of this too. He looks as motivated as I have seen him since probably the whole 'Briers for Britain' thing. Now though, I think he's also tackling more, and has more to his game than he had then. (More aware of his responsibilities, structures etc)
His brain is razor sharp, I don't think there's a quicker thinker, or I'll rephrase that, I don't think there's anybody in SL, with a clearer picture of the field in his mind, as to 'what's on' than Briers.'"
spot on

Utter rubbish. I hope you pull through this poor patch.
You have a team full of talent but they fail to turn up and you the paying fans are swindled out of your hard earned cash every year.
Why?
Players Like Briers are in a comfort zone and in my opinion the quicker you get rid the quicker your team will get back on track. Yeah sure you will miss him but all players are replaceable.
The secret to a successful Wire team is without Briers. Smith is not stupid he will clear out the bad apples as you can see and put a decent team together. What you fans need to realise it is not going to happen over night.
Not to take anything off your victory last night, yeah you won but Bradford were very poor. This type of victory will surely boost moral within the team.

| Cockney Giant - your condescension becomes you.
If Briers had been playing over the Easter weekend we would have beaten both Salford and Castleford.
Our forwards were on top in both those games, but had nobody to do what Briers is capable of.
I just hope he has got his rugby head on every game.

| Quote: marshman7 "Why is it that a couple of seasons ago people were moaning that we couldn't beat S**t teams and now that we have put 58 points past a s**t team, they complain that we were only playing Bradford and should have done better.'"
Marshman7's comment is the best one on this thread. Bradford were poor, so Wire for once did what good sides do to poor sides - thrash them. No-one will be carried away with a good performance, we're still a long way from SL winning standard, but Cockney Giant is way off with his view. Lots of teams have a principal play-maker without whom they struggle to manage - just look at the Deacon-less Bulls last night.

Typcial cockney, talking rubbish about RL.
Not saying Briers is the most consistent player, but last night he was magic. On his day he is still one of the best halfbacks in Super League.
