The club is important to many thousands of people (I'm sure it's very important to use here, otherwise why on earth would we all spend so much time discussing them here) so I don't think that's a very good argument.

And this is sort of my point. By a club official responding to certain issues here, why wouldn't people continue to raise issues here, knowing that they are probably getting read by the club? The OP (I can't keep up with his name changes) has it in his head that Greg knows his issues, so why does he need to raise it with the club, and actually, he has a good point with that one.

This is a multi-million pound business, and the club should always be very careful about how they are perceived by it's customers/fans.

At times we all come on here to have a moan about things like the shop, website, ticketing, prices etc. and I do agree that if people feel so strongly about things, they should raise them directly with the club. I have done so in the past when I have had absolutely useless service from them.

Indeed he did icon_smile.gif Spoons and traffic pending I'm off to see Mr Byrn at the Lowry soon, looking forward to it.

A wonderful case of irony is the attempted assination of Ronald Reagan. The assassin, John Hinkley, missed Reagan with all his shots but one bullet bounced off the bullet-proof window of the presidential car and hit Reagan in the chest.

FACT 1: Being the owner of a website myself I know how difficult they are to maintain. They generate very little income in comparison to the amount of time and effort spent updating them and therefore can attract little investment - unless you are the BBC or SKy e.t.c when you can charge your licence payers/subscribers for your services.

FACT 2: Why would the club invest time and effort interviewing their own players when there are numerous other media already fulfilling that role. Surley the club's efforts should focus on generating revenue and playing rugby. I mean I have even been accused on here of asking questions that the club have written for me!! icon_surprised.gifops:

FACT 3: Most web users expect everything for free - and like most things in life you get what you pay for.

FACT4: How on earth do you expect anyone from the club to take your comments seriously when yoru write under the name you have chosen!! icon_rolleyes.gif
